Michigan Department of Labor
The Michigan Department of Labor works to ensure that all employers and employees are paying taxes on the salary earned. When employees are paid under the table, they do not contribute their fair share to taxes and they are not entitled to the benefits that result from paying those taxes.

During investigations of complaints, the Texas Department of Labor makes certain that each employee is aware of their rights and that those rights have not been violated.
